Witten, Jenkins expected to play Sunday

Cowboys jersey
IRVING - The Cowboys expect to have tight end Jason Witten and cornerback Mike Jenkins for Sunday's game at Houston.
Both were injured in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to Chicago. Jenkins was taken off the field on a cart as a precaution because of a bruised right knee. Witten suffered a concussion when hit by two Bears after a reception.
It's doubtful either player will be cleared to practice nfl jersey
Wednesday, but coach Wade Phillips expects they will practice this week. That paves the way for them to play against the Texans.
"It looks like they will play," Phillips said Monday.
An MRI revealed Jenkins had no ligament damage, and the cornerback said he felt fine. Witten said there are no lingering effects from the hit.
"I didn't feel like it was a concussion," Witten said. "I felt woozy there for a little bit, but everything is fine.
"I feel great. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be playing this week."
Witten engaged in a heated sidelines discussion with Dr. Robert Fowler of the club's medical staff but was not allowed to return.
"I told him I was fine," Witten said. "But I understand what his role is and what he's trying to do. I just felt I knew what my body felt like more than anyone else. Any competitor is going to tell you that."
Witten said he has no headaches or other symptoms associated with a concussion. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware was diagnosed with a mild concussion last week, and was limited in practice for two days before being fully cleared Friday.
No takeaways: Two weeks into the regular season, and only two Buffalo Bills jersey
teams do not have a takeaway: 0-2 Buffalo and the 0-2 Cowboys.
The Cowboys and Buffalo join three other teams - Baltimore, Houston and Minnesota - on the short list of clubs that do not have an interception. In the win over the Cowboys, Chicago's Jay Cutler had the personal rarity of 29 passes without an interception. Cutler had thrown at least one interception in 23 of his previous 28 games.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had two interceptions, both on throws that bounced off a receiver.
"That's the way it happens sometimes," secondary coach Dave Campo said. "It's frustrating when you see that happen. We want to get some of those."
Ground game struggles: The shaky running game regressed against Chicago.
Of the Cowboys' 20 carries, seven went for no gain or a loss. In the opener, a loss at Washington, the Cowboys had two runs for no gain or a loss in 21 carries.
"I am concerned about that," Phillips said. "Too many negative plays are hurting us."
Briefly: Keith Brooking appeared in all but one defensive play, and fellow Steelers jersey
inside linebacker Bradie James went the distance for the second consecutive game in the loss to the Bears. Phillips said he was not concerned about their workload at this time, because the opposing offenses have not run an inordinate number of plays. The Bears ran 49 offensive plays, 22 fewer than the Cowboys.
